Trees!
I was in high school when we were challenged to draw a tree. I realized I didn't know how to look closely and draw a tree with branches- so I drew a "lollipop" tree! I vowed that when I was an art teacher, I would teach young kids how to draw a basic, simple tree so at least they would have a decent foundation for it!!!! Here is the video that I show first grade students.
